Det har varit rätt tyst om Frank Darabonts kommande drama "L.A. Noir". Nu har det dykt upp lite mera information om serien - den skall nämligen byta namn till "Los Angels". Och det beror på Rockstar spel med liknande namn:

Neal McDonough klar för LA Noir

Neal McDonough (Desperate Housewives, Law & Order) är klar för Frank Darabonts LA Noir. Han kommer att spela rollen som den hårdföra Police Chief Parker som är fast bestämd att rensa upp på gatorna och bland korruptionen hos sina egna.

Frank Darabont gör drama på TNT

Frank Darabont avslöjade nyligen om hur han ville att säsongsinledningen  på den andra säsongen av "The Walking Dead" skulle ha sett ut om han hade fått bestämma. Men gjort är gjort - han går istället vidare med nya projekt.

Han skall istället göra en ny pilot åt TNT som är baserad på John Buntins bok L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City eller kort och gott "L.A Noir"

"Noir is a passion of mine, so I feel blessed to delve into a project that speaks in the hardboiled vernacular," Darabont says. "John Buntin's superb book, though non-fiction, is our touchstone and inspiration for the stories we'll be telling, weaving fiction throughout the facts, and facts throughout the fiction. The book provides elements that are irresistible, a big canvas with endless possibilities. The goal is to deliver on the tone that the title L.A. Noir promises: a smart, gritty, authentic, period noir drama.
